Q: What is the quality of the downloads?

A: All our MP3s are 320kbps.

Q: Can I hear the music before I decide to buy it?

A: For any tracks that are available for preview there will be play buttons next to the tracks, which you can press to listen to samples of the songs.

Q: Are Create Control downloads 100% legal?

A: Yes.

Q: Are Create Control downloads iPod & mp3 player compatible?

A: Yes.

Q: How long will it take to download a track?

A: This all depends on the speed of your Internet connection and the sizes of the tracks you are downloading. A normal 3 minute track is approximately 5MB. On a 2MB broadband connection this would normally take you around 2 minutes, if you have a higher broadband connection the download time will be less than this. On a dial-up connection the download could take as long as 15 minutes.

Q: What do I do if I accidentally lose or delete a track?

A: As the music you have downloaded is a digital file – it can be deleted, lost or corrupted. Once downloaded they are your responsibility, however, if it is our fault we will do our best to resend the track asap. Please note you can also try and download again at no extra cost as long as it is within 48hrs of the purchase.

Q: Whom should I contact if I have a technical problem?

A: Our customer services team can be contacted by email. Email support@create-control.com and we will do our best to respond within 48 hours.

Q: Can I transfer or copy the tracks to another computer?

A: Copying or moving files that you have downloaded onto devices that you own (i.e. computers and devices, MP3 players or mobile phones, for example) is considered fair use and is allowed. However, please note it is illegal to move or copy your music files onto another computer or device that belongs to someone else, as this constitutes illegal file sharing and breaks copyright law.

Q: Do I own the tracks once I have downloaded them?

A: Once paid for and downloaded the file is yours to keep for your personal use only. However, copyright laws apply in exactly the same way as a physical compact disc that you have purchased from a shop. Of course you can copy these onto a CD for personal use.

Q: What are the minimum computer requirements for downloading and playing the tracks?

A: For your computer you need... PC: • An installed sound card and speakers or headphones. • Windows XP, Vista or Linux. • Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher) or Firefox. • Music playback software such as Windows Media Player or iTunes. MAC: • An installed soundcard and speakers or headphones. • MAC OS 9.x or OSX (preferably OSX).

Q: Are you having trouble hearing the samples?

A: The music player is created in flash in order to play track samples quickly and efficiently, so you will need to have the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player installed on your computer.

Q: What are MP3s?

A: MP3s are digital music files that you can store on your computer, on an iPod or other MP3 player. They provide a near-CD quality sound but have a compressed file size, which enables them to be downloaded from the Internet.

Q: How do I download the MP3s?

A: After buying music from the web store, the music can be downloaded to your computer inside a zip file, which you will need to extract before you can play it. You will be sent a confirmation of purchase email, which will contain a purchase code. You can enter your purchase code on the Checkout page to retrieve your downloads for up to 48 hours after the purchase. The files will then be downloaded as a zip file to unzip them. Follow these instructions 1. Once you click the download link, you will be asked if you want to open or save your file. Please select SAVE - and choose the best location on your computer to save the files. 2. Once saved, open the folder on your computer and right-click the zip file selecting 'Extract All'. If that doesn’t work you may need to install free zip software such as ‘WinZip’ from www.winzip.com. Either the Windows extraction wizard will open or it might automatically extract the files depending on the software.

Q: My music download was incomplete, what shall I do?

A: You can still retrieve the downloads at no extra cost within 48hrs of purchase, please try again and if this continues to fail then please contact customer support.

Q: How can I play my music?

A: In order to play your MP3s on your computer, you will require some form of music player software to be installed on your computer. The default music player in Windows is called Windows Media Player. To listen, go to the place where you saved the file earlier and double click on it. The default music player should then open up and play the music. If you want to transfer and then play the music you downloaded on a personal digital music player such as an iPod then please check the manual or guide that came with your device.

Q: Can I transfer my music onto a CD?

A: Yes you can burn the music to a CD for personal use.

Q: Why do I need to have a password?

A: Your password is unique to ensure that your details remain secure.

Q: Why do I have to sign in?

A: When you register with the store for the first time and you have entered your details this records details of your contact, delivery and payment information. Once these have been entered your details can be stored which means you will not have to re-enter them again when you make your next order. Signing in also allows you to access your account information and edit any of your account details should you need to.

Q: Do you ship globally?

A: Yes, we ship internationally.

Q: How accurate are the sizes listed on your Web pages?

A: We do our best to make sure that the sizes we show are right and unlike many other sites give a chest measurement on our t-shirts rather than just a small, medium or large size guide.
